We've switched to a new search engine, and the index is still being built. While the index is being built (which can take up to a day on such a large site, with 38000 top-level discussion topics), FogBugz falls back to doing painfully slow and inefficient SQL queries when you do a search.
I think by tomorrow the index should be built and search will be much faster and better than it was before.
The performance does seem better, but it doesn't seem to be picking up everything?
I posted in http://discuss.joelonsoftware.com/default.asp?joel.3.489226.36 but this doesn't appear in the list of results for "IanH"?
Search results may be incomplete!
The FogBugz search index is not up to date. Results may be slow or incomplete. Once the index is up to date, changes may take up to five minutes before they are searchable.
Still getting this message after slow search
Also still can only see 15 items - no next page option
Any idea when the search is going to be fixed???
