Wanted to get a map of the area of a restaurant I want to go to tonight. Couldn't make heads or tails of the map, until I realized that they put South on top.
None of the directional pointers in normal maps, couldn't figure out why things were where they were until I realized that East usually isn't to the right.
I guess upside down is a state of mind.
On a similar note, I was once reading from my Siddur (Jewish prayer book) in front of an Indian friend. He goes "Oh, you read it backwards."
"No, I don't."
"But you read right to left."
"So you read backwards."
"No, I don't"
