Joel mentioned the Enplaned blog in his article http://www.joelonsoftware.com/items/2005/12/14d.html. i started to read it regularly and a few weeks ago it just disappeared. Does anyone know what happened to it? Thanks Andrew
A similar blog titled "The Daily Traveler" seems to also have closed up shop. I speculate that perhaps someone in the industry asked for an injunction due to some of the more... critical subjects covered. I hope it's just mere speculation and Enplaned will make a return soon - that was one extremely well written blog.

it did have amazing information that those big corporations were sure to be a bit touchy about. may some magazine or site bought them up. they often had blog software and rss woes so may be they got fed up and are migrating to a new platform.

I liked what I got to see of Enplaned. More tech/business-minded than Patrick Smith's "Ask the Pilot" column, which is also good: http://www.askthepilot.com/column.html
Enplaned was great. I too noticed its sudden diappearance, and I'm sorry to see it go. Someone set up an archive of it at http://enplaned.com/ | |
