Automating a web app.

I'm looking for a cheep (preferably free) way of automating some testing on a web app.

Has anyone found a plug-in for Fx or IE that will let you fill in forms, click on image maps, and screen-scrape text?

Yep, one of my lead developers is using Selenium for everything now.  It's great.

++ for selenium. Really neat utility. Great that it runs in a browser, shows you the tests in one frame, your app windw in another. This allows you to see visual problmes in different browsers quickly too.

I swear to god, you will kiss my feet after installing the TestGen4Web Firefox extension.

You press "record" and do your thing and press "stop" when your done.

It creates and XML file. You can then play it back at your leisure. It's beautiful.

I've come to creating the XML scripts myself as part of my unit testing.

Just search the extensions for TestGen4Web
