Create .aspx pages manually? (asp.net 2.0 c#)

Hi,

I was wondering about creating new .aspx pages with codebehind .aspx.cs files from scratch, rather than via Visual Studio - this is for the CMS I'm writing.  My concern is that there might be some hidden information or wiring going on that I need to bear in mind.

Anyone done this before, anything I need to know about doing it or can I just copy an existing page and everything is out in the open?

cheers

I would suggest you to move first to Web Application Project (WAP). It will make the build process much more clearer when you want to do this sort of things.

Hope it helps,

I would suggest looking into the Virtual Path Provider.
