Ignore class in Project

Hello, is there any way for the Build Process to ignore some class or classes in the solution? I want to keep one of my classes in the Solution but I want it to be ignored because it uses special references that may not be present on the machine. Is it possible?

Right-click/Properties on the class in the Solution Explorer, and then in the Properties windows set 'Build Action=None' instead of 'Build Action=Compile'.
