How to Implement updating patches online for the application

As the subject only says most of the things can anyone give me a idea how to implement automatic updates for my application i am using INNOSETUP as my installation program....

what i need is whenever user click "check for updates" button i have to check for latest updates if present i have to ask user whether i have to download and if yes i have to download the latest Patches and install them.. any idea or links on how to implement it will really be helpful

Have you considered using "ClickOnce" instead of Innosetup?
