About Face 2.0 : anything new from About Face (1st edition) ?

Hi,

Anyone read both the original Alan Cooper book (About Face) and the new one (AB 2.0)?

Does the new version have anything new, worth reading?

Yes. A lot of new things. Before all it contains the description of the design/development process at Cooper, i.e. it is an "How-To-Book".

I would highly recommend it!

Do you have "The Inmates Are Running the Asylum"?  If so (and you still have the original AF), there's no reason to buy AF 2.0.  The original content wasn't updated at all, and the new content on their design methodology is just a rehash of Inmates.  Aside from that, they added a chapter each on embedded devices and the Web--not bad, but not worth buying the whole book for.

Thanks Beardless. I do have "... Asylum" (and it's good), so good to know no reason to kill another tree <g>.
