http://www.adobe.com/support/flash/detection.html
A tool to detect the swf player and/or version of player.

According to detection result, you can redirect to different pages or render different html content for users.

Support both IE6+ and firefox.

Why not just ask your client if it's installed?

They might not know. Personally, half the time I don't know if I've got Flash installed on this particular browser.
