how do I do this?

I have a site that people log in to and store data about their widget collection.  I want them to be able to drop some javascript on to their web page so that they can display their data to the world (the data of course, coming from our database).  I have no idea how to do this, can anyone point me to some references on the web to help get me started?

Or you can drop HTML into a page that links back to Laszlo.

AJAX? Too complicated for this simple task.

Most common solution is to inject code into users page through remove JavaScript file (browser loads JS file from your website and with series of document.write it creates all the markup required for the block you want to show).

For instance, you have PHP script that will render JS on request based on parameters provided through GET:

User puts something like:

<script type="text/javascript" src=""></script>

That PHP file generates JS code that will create all the code on clients page.
