Analysis Services (MS OLAP) Stored Procedures

Can anyone confirm or deny whether SQL Server Analysis Services (MS OLAP) has the equivalent of Stored Procedures in SQL Server.

I haven't been able to find anything which definitively states one way or the other.

My current understanding is that is does not support stored procs. My current (and only approach) is to pass MDX strings via ADOMD. My main objective is maintenance not performance.

you can not compile mdx in the olap database. An option is to run mdx statements through the openquery function from a sql server stored procedure.
