ASP.NET 2.0 - Best Practices?

Hello all,

Quick question here:  Is there a document (preferably Microsoft/MSDN) that outlines best practices for developing with ASP.NET 2.0, specifically one that discusses the reccomended method of accessing data and displaying it in controls?  I've used both DataSources (e.g. SqlDataSource, ObjectDataSource) and generic Data classes, but I've never seen any documents saying which is the preferred method.  I'm more used to writing my own Data access class to encapsulate all my data methods, but I know that 2.0 includes the new DataSource controls to take care of this.

Is there any documentation out there that talks about this?

Thanks!
