Anyone using IBM's EGL in the wild?

If so, what are your experiences?  Does it really save time or increase productivity?

If the Wasabi controversy was any indicator, you're not too likely to get more responses than this one.

EGL is a high level programming construct developed by IBM, seemingly for Websphere but I think it may be used for other stuff.  I was wondering if anyone is actually using this thing and gaining benefit or if this is merely something IBM desperately *wishes* people to use. :)
