A public forum for discussing the design of software, from the user interface to the code architecture. Now closed.
Part of my build process signs the code I create. For example, this is roughly the command I use:
signcode.exe -a sha1 -spc mycompany.spc -i http://www.mycompany.com -v mycompany.pvk -n "My App" -p "Microsoft Strong Cryptographic Provider" -t http://timestamp.verisign.com/scripts/timstamp.dll myapp.exe
Every time this runs, it pops up and asks me for my private key password. Isn't there some way to install the key (or password??) on my machine (in my user-specific protected storage?) so it can look it up rather than prompting?
This is the only step of my build process that requires manual intervention, and I'd like to automate it.
Thanks for any ideas.
