What is the best opensource test case management system available? I see a few at http://opensourcetesting.org/testmgt.php but am keen in listening from anyone who has used any of them. I want to manage my functional test cases that are otherwise documented in word or excel. As an extended step, if my testers could log the results of a test run in the tool that will help too.

Shamelessly promoting myself here, but I can't NOT say something. You understand right?
I am the author of Test Run - it is an application I wrote as a Project Manager to help solve one of the fundamental challenges of Test Planning - giving managers adequate visibility into what is going on.
But more important to QA engineers, this software is NOT bloatware. It gives you just what you need - an easy way to enter cases, to categorize them, a quick way to spin off test plans, and a test bench for executing them. It is not everything to everyone like other systems I have used. The fundamental premise for Test Run is simplicity.
The company I work for, Six Apart, is using it internally and the QA team has given me wonderful feedback. In fact, in general I have received very positive reviews from colleagues, friends, and users at large. It is beta software, but getting more and more stable every day.
