You know how in VB6's form editor (or any resource editor for that matter), when you click on a widget, it gets "selected". By that I mean the widget gets a dashed-lined outline with little squares at the corners and midway from each side of the widget...  I want to recreate that. How do I do it? I am guessing that is a custom control, correct? Does someone sell a component? How do I go about recreating it?

I tried googling it, but you can imagine what I am talking about is a little hard to describe with keywords. At least I couldn't come up with anything intelligent.

I'd appreciate it if you could help me.

It's "Marching Ants" - what else?!

Bill Atkinson needed something that is visible on all kinds of backgrounds and he seems to be inspired by the Hamm's beer sign.

And, Jeff, thanks for the links!
