Black Friday/cyber Monday discounts?

Do you offer discounts to your software products for black Friday/cyber Monday? Interested to hear people's success or failure on this. It's it a good way to bump up sales and can it work in the b2b market or just b2c.

We're trying it this weekend for our product so we will see how it goes!

I am mostly B2C.

On Black Friday, I can make as much as 10 times my average daily sales. Many people expect things to be on sale today, or around Christmas, so they will wait to buy. I usually have lower than average sales in  November, until Black Friday.

We didn't do it this year, but last year after I saw what Cards Against Humanity was doing, I had our prices dectupled (10x) for Black Friday.

Sold a couple copies at the higher prices, but Black Friday discounts are not what professionals are actually looking for. Black Friday is entirely about the low end consumer WalMart style market.
