BlueSnap and PCI compliance

Anybody using BlueSnap received an email about PCI certification? I thought PCI compliance is for those who accept credit cards directly, we as a BlusSnap vendor don't deal with credit cards, BlueSnap does for us.

Yes, I also contacted BlueSnap, just wanted others' insight on the topic.

If a credit card number touches your webserver, even if you're just passing it on to some other site, you have PCI compliance to worry about.  Even if it's not stored on disk or written to a database.

I wondered about this, I was a little suspicious so forwarded the message to BlueSnap/Plimus, haven't heard back yet.

Same here.
I really do not understand if Plimus take card details why we need to be PCI - we do not get/store the cards - only plimus does.
Can you please keep updating this thread?

Update: from now on we use our backup payment provider who doesn't require strange certifications.

Вщуы anyone still working with exPlimus?
According to what I see, they became non-friendly or even aggressive to small vendors after sale.
Why do you use such payment provider, if there are good alternatives (PayPro Global, Avangate, DR, Spring, etc.), that are heppy to see you as a client?
