Getting Your Software Reviewed By Software Website Editor's

I find it hard to get my review request email read by editor's of popular download websites like CNET,Softpedia etc.

Even though some other websites have reviewed the product,i think these website reviews have better value.

Are there some tricks to get this done.share your experience :)

It's easy.

You have to give them $$$.

Remember : These companies are not in the "reviewing software business" for fun.  They have staff to pay.

Is your software something that would interest certain bloggers? They can often provide better reviews, in terms of SEO,

On a software download site you're rather lost in the crowd.

I had my products on CNET during 10 years.

In 2012 they suddenly wrote their own review for my main product. When the review has been published it raised my sales in 5 times for two days. I see no other reasons for this "effect". Then sales returned to previous level. Now I have only several downloads daily and 1-2 tracked sales from CNET per month.

Neither PPD nor SpotBit programs gave such effect.
