Conference, trade-show, seminar, event directories?

I'm looking for a directory of conferences, seminars, trade-shows etc, that I can filter by the industry. Any suggestions? Thank you

Google is good for that kind of thing, although it isn't as trivial as just a list.

This type of marketing is really effective for products with narrowly defined customers, basically highly specialized products for specific industries.  You can't produce those kinds of products without being a part of the industry they are targeted at.  Google won't tell you which events are productive and which events are just a scheme to make money for organizers.  If your industry involvement doesn't indicate a particular event is a valuable opportunity to market your product, then you shouldn't bother.
