Google Nose ?
Nothing tells better what Google really thinks of us customers and us users - just fools to laugh at

Just think a minute of it, somebody actualy came up with that idea at Google's HQ  and it got approved : 'Hey lets' s do the 'nose' thing they are gonna believe it and we can have a good laugh later on..."

I've never been a fan of Google's pranks (too elaborate and quite lame). But I thought Redbox was pretty funny. Redbox kiosks now sell lunchmeat!

Hey! I am a respected member of ... OK, yes.

I submitted this to my alma mater's student newspaper:

***** Start of Spoof Article *****
TRU Nearly Shut Down by Fire Department

"excessive combustibles" cited

TRU narrowly escaped being shut down by the fire department.  With the end of the semester coming up, this would have posed a severe operational problem to administration and much stress for students preparing for final exams.

Citing a history of excessive combustibles constituting a real risk of fire, the fire department was quite serious about this.  The shutdown was averted by a quick twelfth-hour cleanup, but TRU is on notice for the near future.

OK, OK.  Yes, this is an April Fools joke, but there is an element of truth here.  Bulletin boards around TRU sometimes have six or more layers of posters.  How about taking down your old poster when it no longer applies?
***** End of Spoof Article *****

The Bitcoin thread and the ideological responses in it kicked off April Fool's day early here.

I'd like to be the bigger man and not do this but...

"I agree ideologically with Bitcoin. Fervently, in fact."

Like many, I hate April Fool's on the web, but I really loved the geocities theme for bootstrap:
