Code Signing Certificate

Does anyone use code signing? I've got a bit of a concern about it. My company is registered at my home address and certificate authority wants my company's address. It's not a problem but I don't want this address to go into certificate or appear on the web for obvious privacy related reasons. Does the actual certificate contain the mailing address in there and do the issuing authority publish this kind of information?

I tried to contact Comodo's support buy after several emails back and forth I gave up...

I bought a Comodo code signing cert a while back and can confirm that your address does go into the cert, it is held in the Subject field of the certificate.

Also they will require your website domain to have its whois info changed to match that address. As far as I know the CA itself dont publish your information but as its held in the cert/whois records anybody can view it .

Hope that helps.

You might have better luck contacting a comodo reseller such as http://ksoftware.net/ .
