Resources for app service providers?

I was wondering if anyone knew any good resources that discuss starting and running an ASP. A quick search on Google didn't turn up much of interest.

Also, along those lines.. I was looking at billing services (like DigiBuy, SWReg, etc.) and only SWReg mentions the ability to handle recurring payments. Does anyone know of any other services that handle that also?

A buddy of mine recommended Cornerstone Payment Services (or something like that).  Anyway, he's been using them for a year and he's VERY happy with them.

Don't have a good answer for you, but you might try fishing for more information in a forum at http://www.webhostingtalk.com .  Lots of people there who run web hosting services, not ASP's, but try the dedicated server forum and see if some ASP people are there who may have some tips for you.

Also, I suppose a lot of the ecommerce issues are similar between ASP's and web hosting services, so maybe the 'E-Commerce Discussion' forum will be a good source of information.
