Adwords $ to sales ratio

By no means a practical question as everyones mileage will vary but just out curiosity how much do you get back in sales per $ spent on Adwords.

Adwords $1 > $6-$8 Sales.

Adwords prices keep going up and up, so at some point in time we'll get to a negative return.

When all the stars align correctly, I make $2-3 per dollar spent on AdWords.  When I shoot myself in the foot or Google makes a change which disadvantages me, I have gone down to 60-80 cents or so.  I feel like I don't spend enough time running it any more -- something on my perpetual list of things to fix when I get a few hours free...

I get between $2.50 to $3.00 for every dollar spent on AdWords.

+1 Neville Franks, especially in the initial stages when keywords aren't getting clicked often. If your market is focused you're better off posting to forums.

I don't see the prices going up and up?

Always remember that there are two ways to achieve Google AdWords success. Spend more or work the system better.

"I only counted one way to succeed there."

You mean spending more on the same poorly thought out campaign won't work?
