Business Podcasts

A while ago, Joel mentioned the Venture Voice podcast, and I have since followed it with great interest.  Greg Gallant is far from a professional host with his monotone delivery, but the content is solid.  Some of the best interviews include Jason Fried (37 Signals), Mena Trott (Six Apart) and Derek Sivers (CD Baby).  Oh yeah, and some Joel guy who runs a software company or something.

I also discovered Startup Nation, which is a syndicated radio show hosted by Jeff and Rich Sloan.  They offer a weekly podcast (feeds.feedburner.com/StartupNationRadio), and I have found it to be interesting and entertaining.  Recently they interviewed Craig Newmark (Craigslist), and they have an upcoming show with Bob Parsons (Go Daddy).

Any other podcast recommendations?

Venture Voice is a great podcast.  It's the only one that I follow regularly.  It is presented as an interview with a small business / startup / venture capitalist figure each podcast.  Greg has a great knack for running the interviews.

While not a podcast, Niall Kennedy posted audio from a panel discussion called 'How To Run Your Own Software Business' that took place at a Mac conference on his blog at:

I've listed to this twice and it's the best audio on the topic I've come across to date.

I've recently come across this:

He has some pretty good content and tends to focus on smaller ISV type issues and topics.  His most recent episode is an interview with Bob Walsh.

What a shame that Jim Cramer's site is using java and my ad blocker stops his pop up menus.
